I jailbroke my LG TV using this guide
My most used application once jailbroken is a modified Youtube client that integrates an adblock and sponsorblock.
I also edited the TV remote’s mapping to allow me to open Youtube via the Netflix button (I don’t use Netflix) and execute the PPPoE PS4 exploit on the Prime button (I also don’t use prime video).
Games listed here I’ve played on my LG TV using the Nintendo Switch as my Moonlight client and the game running on my PC (with Special K and Sunshine)
I’ve since started using the PPPoE version of the exploit (over the webkit) and use my LG TV as the connected Ethernet device (which runs the PPPoE server that sends the exploit).
Additionally, I use a Moonlight client on my Switch to connect to my Sunshine server on my Main machine. This essentially turns my Switch into a steam deck, which I then use to play single player games on my LG TV. The important part to note is that both devices are on the same network, and the client is handling the inputs inside the steam so the latency is very small, enough to not be noticeable even in FPS games.
